Our team spent years inside creator-economy data and finance operations, including owning the commission attribution pipeline at a UK influencer-marketing agency. Every month the same thing happened: refunds that never reversed a commission, plan rates applied late, statement lines that didn't match the contract. Someone had to catch it by hand, line by line, before creators got paid. One month a scraping bug inflated payouts across the whole roster before anyone noticed.
